MoneyButton is operated by MONEYBUTTON LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use moneybutton, why we collect it, and who else can see it. It covers the website only.
Entry is free and we never collect payment information. There is nothing to buy on this site and no way to pay us. Prizes are sent to winners using details they give us at the moment they claim, while signed in — we will never email you asking where to send money.
What we collect

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, date of birth, card details, or precise location. We do not ask for them and there is nowhere to enter them. If you win, you tell us where to send the prize at that moment — nothing is stored in advance.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not send marketing email. The only email you may receive is account-related, such as a password reset.
- We do not use your data to decide whether you win. Your winning moment is derived cryptographically from a daily secret and your account ID, and is fixed before the cycle opens.
Cookies, local storage, and advertising
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and, in offline demo mode, to store your play history on your own device. This is not shared with anyone.
We may show ads to fund the site. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers. We do not share your data with anyone else.
- Supabase — database, authentication and server functions. Privacy policy
- Cloudflare — website hosting and content delivery. Privacy policy
- Google AdSense — advertising. Privacy policy
- Google Fonts — typefaces, loaded from Google's servers, which receives your IP address as a consequence.
Public information
Your display name and how close you got appear on the daily leaderboard, visible to anyone using the site. Your email address is never shown. If you would rather not appear, contact us and we will remove you from the board.
Winners may also be published — username, prize and how close they got, never your email — as described in the Official Rules.
How long we keep it
Account and play history are kept while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account we remove your email, display name and play history within 30 days. Server logs are kept for a short period by our providers under their own retention policies.
Your choices
Write to [email protected] to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account. We will need to confirm you control the email address on the account.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights — for example, residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and a growing number of other US states have rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing under state privacy laws. We honour these requests from everyone, wherever you are, because it is simpler and fairer than checking.
Children
MoneyButton is not directed to children and is 18+ only. You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia to create an account or enter. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete the account and the data with it.
Security
Accounts are protected by your password, which we never see in plain text. Your press data is written only by our server, never by your browser, and access to other players' records is blocked at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell affected users promptly if something goes wrong.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and, for material changes, say so on the site. The current version always lives at this address.
